When you arrive in port in Mykonos, head out on a private shore excursion to the island of Delos, where you'll discover its legends and its beauty. Your private guide will lead you to the Agora, the Sacred Way and the Temple of Apollo. Go back in time as you visit the remains of a Hellenistic quarter and see its harbors and former luxurious villas, such as the House of Cleopatra and the House of Dionysus. Admire beautiful 2,500-year-old mosaic floors and marble sculptures from the 8th century BC.

While you are in port in Mykonos, experience the beauty of neighboring island Delos on a private shore excursion. Delos was a holy sanctuary for a thousand years, and is it believed to be the birthplace of the Greek gods Apollo and Artemis. When you arrive in Delos' harbor, see your first mythological sight – two conical mounds on the horizon, one of which is crowned with a sanctuary of Dionysus.

Follow your private guide to the Agora, an open space where Italians merchants used to meet. Continue along the Sacred Way and marvel at the Temple of Apollo and the remains of a Hellenistic quarter. Walk around old harbors and former luxurious private houses, like the House of Cleopatra, the House of the Dolphin, the House of Dionysus and other notable homes. End your walking tour by enjoying the spectacular views of the Avenue of Lions, where five replicas of Naxian beasts from the 8th century BC stand. The marble sculptures are known to be the vigilant guardians of the Sacred Lake, which has been intentionally left dry.

Experience Mykonos to its full extent. Take a look at the authentic side of the Mykonian life, enjoy a local traditional lunch at our Mykonian Spiti and explore the streets of the most fabulous island of the Aegean, experiencing the true beauty of Mykonos..

The Grand tour of Mykonos offers a visit to the “soul” of Mykonos, a full day detailed look at all the highlights on the island. You start this adventure with an authentic Island tour, that covers all traditional areas of the island, not often covered on a conventional tour. The first stop is the small port of St. Ioannis, followed by the Mykonos airport, Ano Mera Village (one of the island's most typical agricultural and stock raising areas) and then a traditional Mykonian family farm, for a glimpse at the Mykonian country life and to see a small local cultivated field and some domestic animals. Passing by the Ano Mera village you will be guided through the “Panagia Tourliani” Monastery’s chambers and also visit the nearby open air market with vegetables and other local products. More highlights include some of the most distant beaches such as "Kalo Livadi", "Kalafati" and "Agia Anna", the narrow streets of Mau and the Mykonos dam. Our island tour ends with a beautiful “photo” stop at a location where you can grasp a beautiful panoramic view of Mykonos town.

After the picture taking, we start a new chapter of the tour, with a visit to the “Mykonian Spiti”, in order to enjoy a traditional home made lunch and to experience the traditional Greek way of life, the culture, the Greek art of cooking. “Spiti” means home and this is exactly where you are welcome at during this stop of our Grand tour. The house belongs to a local Mykonian family, whose target is to instill the hospitality and the everyday lifestyle of a traditional Mykonian family.

Right after your traditional lunch is over, we head towards the Mykonos town, where we offer you an opportunity of a lifetime to experience first-hand its true beauty, by walking you through its history and re-living some of its past memories. Highlights of this experience include: Manto Square, the famous Matogianni area, the home of Manto Mavrogenous' mother, the traditional "Gioras bakery" (an underground and old wooden stove), the famous five in a row windmills which still stand proudly as a local attraction after their operation was paused. Passing by 'Little Venice' you will have 15 minutes free time, and after you will visit the elaborate church of "Panagia Paraportiani", one of the most famous architectural structures in Greece.

This old lighthouse stands like a sentinel over the Armenistis area and is a testimony to Mykonos' maritime history, while remaining fully functional today. In order to visit the Armenistis lighthouse, we take the road from Agios Stefanos. At the location of "Fanari" which translates to "lantern" in Greek, the scenic coastal road also offers some of the most spectacular views on the island just 6.5km from Mykonos Town.

It was manufactured in 1891. The altitude of tower is 19 metres and the height of focal plane is 184 metres. The mechanism of the first lamp of "Armenistis" is exposed outside by the building of Aegean Naval Museum that is located in a traditional building of 19th century, in centre of Mykonos, near to place Three Wells (Tria Pigadia).

The Armenistis lighthouse is worth visiting because of the breath-taking scenery around it. From there you can see all the boats arriving and departing Mykonos, while Tinos island looks as if it is right next to you from there. Its strategic position offers scenic views of the surrounding areas and is well worth visiting to get a sense of the island’s fascinating history and enjoy its spectacular beauty.

Explore Mykonos’ romantically rugged Old Town on a 2.5-hour tour, led by an attentive private guide! Operating at a time to suit your schedule, the comprehensive tour includes a walk around the island’s stunning Old Town with its pretty whitewashed houses, and the neighborhood of Little Venice, where buildings frame the waterfront. Admire sights like the Church of Panagia Paraportiani and enjoy free time to see the sights at your own pace, too.

Leave your Mykonos hotel and head off to see the island and its gorgeous Old Town by air-conditioned minivan. As you travel, chat with your guide about Mykonos and the things that you want to see.

Hop out of your minivan at Mykonos Yacht Club, where glitzy yachts line the marina’s front, and then set off on your stroll around the picture-perfect alleys that comprise Mykonos Old Town. Cycladic architecture abounds in Mykonos, and its elegant streets are dotted with the white sugar cube houses that grace Greek Island postcards.

Soak up the scenery, enjoying photo stops aplenty as you amble around, and listen to your guide regaling you with tales of the island’s history. Whereas Mykonos is now a hotspot for jet set Europeans, the island was once fought over by Phoenicians, Macedonians and Athenians, and each of the rulers’ architectural legacies can be seen around the island today.

Head toward Little Venice, where whitewashed houses teeter on the water’s edge, and look out toward the famous Mykonos windmills that stud the hillside around Chora town. Stop for photos outside the Church of Panagia Paraportiani, an eye-catching collection of tiny 15th-century chapels.

Enjoy some free time to explore independently or perhaps relax with a drink on a terrace bar (own expense). Then, meet your guide back at your minivan, and finish your Mykonos tour with a drop-off at your hotel.
