Parga, Sivota and Blue Lagoon Cruise is the best way to see the beauties of mainland Greece coastal scenery. Enjoy entering by boat the stunning cave of Sivota. Walk through the wonderful narrow streets of Parga to discover many interesting shops and enjoy your lunch at one of the traditional seafront tavernas. Additionally, you can join a mini tour with the tourist train from the coast line to the forest visiting the traditional stone watermill with the folklore museum and on the way back you may have a walking tour in the Venetian castle before you get to swim at the exotic waters of the outstanding bay Blue Lagoon. The tour obviously provides magnificent views over Northern East coastline of Greece’s mainland and the Ionian Sea.

Departing from the harbor of Corfu, you will enjoy a unique view of the old town, among the two Venetian fortresses, the Kanoni peninsula and the palace of Mon Repos. Heading towards south you will pass Igoumenitsa port, the capital of Thesprotia region, the small fishing village of Plataria and will sail close to Sivota where the ship will enter in the breathtaking cave of Sivota. There during the Second World War the Greek Sub Marine was hiding underneath the lighthouse, mostly known as "Papanikolis".

The cruise continues approaching Parga, a large picturesque village with island character, rich and eventful history and rare physical beauty. You will be amazed by its interlaced beaches, emerald sea surrounded by calm bays and olive groves. You’ll be definitely tempted to explore the romantic side streets and pathways with two or three-storey houses forming a colorful amphitheatre, under imposing remains of a Venetian castle. The castle, one of the main attractions of Parga, was built in the 11th century by the residents to protect their town from pirates and the Turks. Part of the castle was demolished by the Ottomans in 1452. Venetians started to rebuild it but, before the works were completed, it was demolished again in 1537 by the Ottoman admiral Barbarossa who burn and destroyed the fortress and the houses within. Then for the third and the last time the castle was rebuilt stronger and impregnable until 1819. In the main building of the castle a photo exhibition on the antique Parga is hosted. Opposite the castle at the entrance of the port there is a small island dedicated to Virgin Mary where is built a church and medieval Venetian and French buildings. Every summer on 15th of August the famous Varkarola is celebrated with splendor around the port, dedicated to the Pargians who came back from Corfu to Parga.

About 15 kilometers from Parga is the most important ancient monument area. This is the most important oracle of antiquity, the Oracle of Acheron. The ancient Greeks believed that the sources of Acheron were the gates of the Underworld.

On the way back, we will sail around the historical Sivota, where in the summer of 432 B.C. the greatest Naval Battle between the "Corcyrians Fleet" and the "Corinthian Fleet" took place. Still, today many of the sunken vessels of that period relies remain at the bottom of the sea. Soon we will arrive at the impressive bay of "Blue Lagoon". Old historians say that there in the Middle Ages Arabian pirates ships used to moor close to this bay. The boat is anchoring close to the beach and you will have the opportunity to swim at the exotic blue waters of the Lagoon.
During your trip, you can enjoy the sun and help yourself to refreshments which may be purchased from the bar. We look forward to meeting you on one of our ships.

Travel through wonderful scenery to the beautiful mountain villages of Zagoria and see the breathtaking Vikos Gorge. These tiny sleepy villages nestle beneath pine-clad towering peaks, are made up of humble stone cottages and grand mansions that were once connected only by paths and old stone bridges. Chance to get up close to some of the oldest and most impressive ones. Visit to the Monodendri, one of the most beautiful Zagorian villages, to enjoy the walk to the 15th Century monastery of Agia Paraskevi.

Until as recently as the Fifties the stone-arched bridges that criss-cross the Zagori region played a vital role in linking communities. Today, many of these bridges, which date from the 18th and 19th centuries, can be seen from the modern roadside. Chance to get up close to some of the oldest and most impressive ones like Kokkori bridge, dating from 1750, which is backed by a pinnacle stack and spans a high arch above the Voidomatis river, and bridge of Kalogeriko, three-stringer bridge that was built in 1814. It is one of the few three-stringer bridge that exist which has given it particular fame. The bridge serve the residents of the two villages in their transportation and it is one of the most photographed bridges of Zagori. It will surely impress you.

The next is Vikos Gorge, with a length of 20 km, walls that range from 450m  to 1,600m deep, and a width from 400m. It is the jewel of Greece’s Vikos-Aoos National Park and listed by the Guiness Book of Records as the deepest canyon in the world in proportion to its width. With walls of up to 1 km in height, the gorge is spectacular. The gorge has been carved over millions of years by the Voidomatis River, a tributary of the Aoos. The Vikos Gorge is also a site of major scientific interest, because it is in almost virgin condition, is a haven for endangered species and contains many and varied ecosystems.

Monodentri exists since 1753. Before that year it used to be a community consisting of three neighborhoods. During the 17th and 18th centuries, some local benefactors took charge of some important constructions that remain until our days. Near Monodendri, you will find the abandoned monastery of Agia Paraskevi, built in 1412, providing an impressive view of the entire village. the village hosts some beautiful two-storey mansions, in fact, this village is one of the most beautiful Zagorian villages and has been declared as a national historical monument.

The Rocks between earth and sky. This trip will take you in a land where you will experience the fantastic scenery of the Pindos mountain range and breathtaking views. The Monasteries are built on spectacular natural rock pillars and lie in the north-east region of Greece. Meteora and the impressive monasteries are included in the UNESCO "World Heritage sites" list and without a doubt should be on everyone’s must see list when in Greece.

This trip will take you deep in mainland of Greece to the group of medieval monasteries each one balanced precariously on rock pinnacles rising up from plain. The first Byzantine inhabitants in the area were Hermetic monks starting in the 11th century. They would climb the massive rocks and make sanctuaries high up in caves in order to be alone with and closer to God.They then stayed in these caves their whole lives and were dependent upon pilgrims for food and water which was hoisted up in rope nets. Later, in the 14th and 15th centuries monasteries were made as places of refuge in troubled times and access to them too was extremely difficult, requiring either long ladders lashed together or a windlass and rope pulling up net, for goods and humans. Things remained much the same until the 1920’s when steps were carved into the rock allowing for easier access. It is difficult to imagine how the monasteries were built on their pinnacles in the first place. There is definitely a very special energy in this place that brings a sense of peace and serenity. Six of the monasteries remain today. Of these six, four are inhabited by men, and two by women.

We will visit the Monastery of  Grand Meteoro and Saint Stephan Monastery.

The Holy Monastery of Great Meteoro  is the highest, largest and oldest of the six monasteries of the Meteora. Founded in the 14th century, by a monk from Mount Athos, the Great Meteoron is still impressive and important today. The main cathedral in the central courtyard is embellished with beautiful 16th century frescoes. There is a remarkable and rich collection of manuscripts, icons and holy heirlooms.

The monastery Agiou Stephanou was built in 14th century. The monastery suffered much damage in the 20th century: it was bombed during World War II and desecrated during the subsequent Civil War . Currently it is inhabited by nuns only. This is the most accessible monastery, where instead of steps you simply cross a small bridge to reach the entrance.

Meteora and the impressive monasteries are included in the UNESCO "World Heritage sites" list and without a doubt should be on everyone’s must see list when in Greece.

In the afternoon, visit the nearby village of Kalambaka for lunch at a local restaurant.
