Day 1

Arrival in Thessaloniki and transfer to hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure. An optional general tour of city can be offered in the late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2
City tour with museum. After Breakfast an experienced guide will guide you to a panoramic tour of the city of Thessaloniki by bus. Visit the Arch, Byzantine churches, Rotonda, Saint Sofia, Egnatia, Aristotle Square. The bus will ascend the Castle over city where another world with endless beauty unfolds. Visit the Byzantine Museum with its wonderful exhibits of Makedonian and Byzantine Culture. We worship at the Church of St. Demetrios the Great Martyr and the visit the Crypt. Visit to the White Tower. In the afternoon, continue the exploration of the city center, where you will visit numerous monuments from the Byzantine period. Most interesting among them are the churches of the Transfiguration, St. Catherine and some others from the late Byzantine period. We also try to visit some newer churches with interesting new icons, murals and mosaics. Overnight return back to the hotel.


Day 3
Chalkidiki. After 2 hours driving from Thessaloniki, arrive in Chalkidiki. Check in at a 4* resort hotel, located by the sea. Have a welcome dinner at the resort.

Day 4
Chalkidiki. Mount Athos one day Cruise. An unusual day tour along the monk’s republic Athos within the scope of a restful ship trip. In Ouranoupolis the ship puts in to a 2-hour stop where you have the opportunity to take your lunch in one of the numerous taverns and to enjoy an ouzo. After lunch the ship brings you again to Ormos Panagia where buses will bring you back to your hotel.

Free days to enjoy the of Chalkidiki

Day 7
Toroneos Cruise ( optional ) An absolute must. A very special day for “Fun in the Sun”. An experienced captain will cross with you to the crystal waters of the Toroneos Gulf with destination the peninsula of Kassandra. Fabulous views and beautiful beaches for topping up those tans. Tickle your taste buds on our succulent BBQ on board (Greek wine included). Among the highlights of the tour are the Turtle Island (bath stop on open sea) and the Pefkochori village (free time for swimming, relaxing, exploring and shopping). Day 1

Day 2

Free day, or full day Vergina (optional). Morning departure, arrival in Veria in the archaeological site of Vergina. There you will be guided by a guide-archaeologist, admire the findings of the Royal Tombs by Professor Andronikos in 1977 as a UNESCO World radiation,the tomb of Philip II with magnificent frescoes. Then you watch a short video of the archaeological site and depart for the beautiful Veria 12km from Vergina. Free time for lunch and then we will see the ruins of the ancient city of Veria, mansions and architecture in Veroiotiki preserved neighborhoods Kyriotissa the Bema of Apostle Paul and the Municipal Park. Late afternoon we depart for our hotel, settle in our rooms, rest.

Day 4
Free day, transfer to the airport. Buffet breakfast at leisure at Hotel. Morning at leisure (for shopping etc) or with optional activities. In the afternoon depart from Thessaloniki – private transfer to the airport.

Meteora were named after St. Athanasios the Meteority, proprietor of the Big Meteorou Church. Since 1988, the monasteries of Meteora have a position on the UNESCO’s global heritage monuments catalogue. Built on the top of the rocks, in a high that reaches the 400 meters, Meteora are considered to be one of the greatest creations of nature, and one of the most important monuments of the Orthodoxy.
Today, only 7 of the historical monasteries are being used, 6 from which are open to the public, which are:
• The Anapausa Monastery
• The Rusanu Monastery
• The “Big Meteoro” Monastery
• The Varlaam Monastery
• The Agia Triada Monastery
• The Agios Stefanos Monastery

We will pick you up from your hotel in Thessaloniki at 08.30, and will we follow the road towards Meteora, that will take approximately 3-3,5 hours until we get there. If you like we can make a short stop at the town of Trikala, for a coffee break next to Litheos River, and afterwards we start visits the monasteries of Meteora. This wonderful tour will be completed at the picturesque villages of Kalambaka or Kastraki, where you can have optional a traditional Greek lunch! Afterwards, we will return at Halkidiki.
